work in progress 2
I 've worked on it a little bit more,
here is where it stands now.
I started blocking in the dark and the light shapes
to add depth and lines.
I have to wait for the paint to dry,
before I can do the next stage

work in progress
this is only the start of two paintings of birds visiting a very small house.
it's just a quick rough sketch ,
I hope to be doing more work on the first one tomorrow.

visitor ( part 2)
At this season I seldom had a visitor.
When the snow lay deepest
no wanderer ventured near my house
for a week or fortnight at a time,
but there I lived as snug as a meadow mouse.

flowers in tints
my child,
I understand why there is such a play of colors on clouds,
on water,
and why flowers are painted in tints”

Love is like a balloon..
Love is like a balloon..
when you push your relationship with someone forward,
it is like blowing up the balloon.
If you blow too hard and too fast,
the balloon pops and likewise the relationship breaks.
But if you take things slowly
and let the balloon of love stretch on its own,
it grows into a huge, prosperous balloon,
full of love.
Also, if you don't push the relationship at all,
or at least hold it at the same level it was at,
the air will flow out of the balloon,
deflating it,
and your love will shrivel up and become flat & lifeless.
So when you are in love,
push the relationship forward slowly and gently
and the balloon will grow comfortably into a strong,
immense love.

the songs of our birds
“I never for a day gave up listening to the songs of our birds,
or watching their peculiar habits,
or delineating them in the best way I could.”

panorama of colors
Although our plumtree was planted only two years ago,
we had lots of plums and they are
about as beautiful as a plum can get!
There are few fruits that come in such a panorama of colors
as this juicy sweet tasting plum.
It's a feast for the eyes , I just had to take a picture.

small harvest
Broad beans still in the pod
Broad beans got their name from the seeds which are large and flat.
Is there a more versatile vegetable than the humble broad bean?
Okay it's a very small harvest,
but what a pretty sight.
