color pencil

As long as I can remember I love working with color pencils.

The reason I like to work with pencil is several-fold:

the freedom to work from a table or easy-chair

without the mess of liquids,

the freedom to render pieces outdoors,

like sitting in my garden.

Another reason for my passion are the details,

and the way you can blend the colors together to form new colors.

I love the soft pastel look that can be achieved .

This little piece I made yesterday, and I had a lot of fun making it.

Today I made this ACEO,
which is now for sale in my shop

There are lots of different way's to display ACEO's,

but I particulary like the hangers made by Bellsakabin.

She bought 2 ACEO's from me some time ago

and made this dubble hanger for them.

Babino the cheeky little bug

I woke up this morning with this little character on my mind,
so I quickly picked up a piece of paper and a pencil to get him onto the paper.

The little fellow is now for sale in my Shop
