A herb is a useful plant,
but that doesn't mean it can't be beautiful as wel .
Look at this fresh sprig of Oregano !
Doesn't it look pretty in this vase,
with it's crocheted cover ?
And it smells nice too !
I covered a small glas bottle
with crochet,
and I love the effect ,
simply stunning .

What a creative way to use the herb flowers! I'd heard oregano blossoms, but I'd never seen it (I tried to grow it from seed this spring but it didn't grow). So pretty!
It's lovely Trudette. I've seen people using the green herbs in place of flowers for the table. But the flowering herb is beautiful.
